2017 has been a real push for my nights especially at the smokehouse in ipswich with gigs like the indietracks warm up gig with Chorusgirl, model village and Radio Orwell brought as massive of 50 attendances came along for the wonderful july night, then the Leaone gig recently made a good 28 people came along, my favourite band of the night softer still from london brought a wonderful shoegaze dream pop sound toward the smokehouse venue, Jetstream pony from London/brighton brought a unique fuzzy indie pop styles of stereolab and swirlies and flames of the lizard birds on were first showed a appriciation of psychedelic rock meets britpop with a dadrock twist.
my gigs have brought something completely different to ipswich music scene than just punk, hip hop, metal and other mainstream night around ipswich.
The Next gig will be Leeds indie pop band Nervous Twitch who got prised by Louder than war and There new album will be out this friday, support act will be the scuzzy garage rockers Umbrella Assassins from Haverhill and The Naked French newly formed lo-fi indie band from ipswich, both of those bands have got good airplay on BBC introducing, this will be the last gig of 2017 at the smokehouse, So don't miss out!!! Also The last DJ Night of the year will be at The swan in ipswich with a guest DJ, so don't miss that one out!
