CAMBRIDGE INDIE POP ALLDAYER 2017 @ THE BLUE MOON, CAMBRIDGE SATURDAY 18TH NOVEMBER

This year's Cambridge Indie Pop All Dayer was the 2nd year that Sweet Revenge organizer beck, Chris and Emma have ever done, even i wasn't at there  first one last year, however i heard there was a great turn out and this year was another wonderful Turn out.

This year we started of with best-kept secrets in  British songwriting was Emma Kupa (Standard Fare/Mammoth Penguin) Who recently did a release with former Hefner front man Darren Hayman earlier this year. Emma's set was a promise to the indie community in Cambridge, during her set Laura  (baby arms), Faith (suggested friends/chorusgirl) and mark (mammoth Penguin) joined in,  which I thought it was good to check out.
Up next was Rainbow Reservoir from oxford who have a the answer of Helen love with little bit more fuzzy power pop goodness, a pure DIY punk vibes going on, guitarist and front female vocalist Angela space who's originally from the US also nice person to talk to. Next was Faith Taylor who have made her a appearance twice at last year's indie pop alldayer with chorusgirl and suggested friends, this year she has done a nice indie folk solo project alongside with Jacob wills, it's reminds me of U.S band Neutral milk hotel with a bit British 60's folk blending in there, which i thought was really good to see. Next was Baby Arms a band that plays a good decent jingle jangle indie pop sound with a hint of the Jesus and Mary chain drum material, i recommend indie fans out there to check out baby arms. Next Up was Chrissy Barnacle a storytelling alt folk musician with lovely inspiration of fantasy shows a different approach of this year's all dayer, next up was Schande a indie rock trio who recently located to London who are a important band that i saw, a band that remind me of good noise pop bands that I'm into, next was dream nails a fierce joyful punk witches London, I would like to say a pure and a exciting riot Grrrl performance with a political statement which is a good thing for this year's indie pop all dayer, I also do have A Lot respect for the band. Next was Personal Best a power pop band from the southern part of England that i saw at this year's indietracks and i thought they are really good live, they remind me of a lot bands like Letters To Cleo and Veronica Salt from the mid to late 90's, they are Good band to check if you like those bands. Last but not least this year's headliner was Peaness one of the band that i got into last year were really good and basic indie pop from Chester, a band that got a bit of airplay and good recognition from the indie press, a band you must see Live and they are really fun and poppy to watch.

The alldayer was the first time that I've ever been to and sweet revenge know how to put on a sweet event happening in Cambridge.
